It transformed our dance of daily love into a sojourn along the way,
took us outside of our favorite lives in a very perplexing way.
While we remained in the moment winning any battle then in play -
such as two spoons of soup or three for tea, or whether this pill needs 4 or 8 sips of water today.
To say nothing of all the other things of which we will say nothing,
Yet within each moment happening there was always time for us to connect.
Glowing hearts and smiling eyes reaching down to the tips of curling toes,
An uplifted loving outlook because we share the light that flows.
Even through endless get ups in the middle of the night,
And pursuing must have medicines to avoid the otherwise plight.
And all the other many things that chased us along the way,
Yet to meet your needs in every way I gave myself completely.
Within that space together we were outside our hardship nearly,
And this travail of love has led me to a changed new outlook clearly.
Because while you left in peace following the journey of your passing,
your spirit was already in ascension and advancing.
Your soft smiles and light laughter, whimsy, cheer and delight,
Reside in every place at home, gently shining - echoing bright.
Your love is all around me when I am calm enough to see..
For gentleness is the key to love's enduring mystery.
This process is transformative, neither I nor things are the same now -
Across a non existent gateway in another world somehow.
A different vision is granted here for those who follow the truth of their heart,
The path of loving so absolutely has taken me with you to a new start.
